It's finally here! After a long hiatus the TonyBrunoShow is back with a bang! LIVE from the Passyunk Passeggiata Street Festival Wednesday July 27th at 6pm
After a truly fun night at the Podcast with my old pal and partner Harry Mayes making a live appearance at Comedy Sports theatre in Philly, and the lovely and funny Tammy Pescatelli stopping by to make us laugh and discuss which city has more sucky sports right now - Philly or her native Cleveland, I awoke to some news which finally confirmed what I've been saying about the current owners of the Philadelphia 76'ers for the last 2 years. Hope all enjoyed this long Labor Day weekend and the summer of 2015. Still basking in the incredible win by my Temple Owls dominating a Penn State program it hadn't been able to beat since 1941. What an electric college football atmosphere in South Philly and national respect for a team and school usually ignored in this Eagles obsessed city.
For those who missed it, the TonyBrunoShow Podcast has been experimenting with a Live Video Stream on Google+ Hangouts on Air, which is automatically viewable on YouTube Live, then available via YouTube for future viewing immediately thereafter. We've also been using Periscope which has been getting great reaction and allows for fantastic fan interaction during the show.
As most of you are getting in the last weeks of summer vacation, we are turning our attention to an exciting fall where the NFL and college football return and all is good with the world again. Some really exciting news coming soon about the Tony Bruno Show Podcasts going to the next level. By now, you probably know it's my sole focus in life after "over the air radio"
John Gonzalez of Comcast Sports Net Philadelphia has leaked out the following video........OUTRAGE!
The last few days have been insane to say the least. Trying to respond to so many people commenting here, on Twitter and Facebook has been a challenge and I will try to do as many as I can as we prepare for some fun stuff ahead. Heading to NYC today to do one of my last "Bruno Bash" segments with Keith Olbermann on ESPN 2. at 5pm eastern.
have been silent for the last 6 days, allowing myself the time to reflect and make sure my decisions are thought out and proper. There has been a flood of misinformation, speculation, twitter, blogger and newspaper hysteria, name calling, and just absolute insanity about what happened at WIP.
Just wanted to thank all of the well wishers, long time fans and new listeners to my new venture back where my sports talk career exploded at 94 WIP in Philly 24 years ago. Working with Josh Innes is going to be fun and exciting as he brings the energy, passion and the will to win.
Been doing a lot of soul searching as we turned the calendar to 2015. Like most, family, health and happiness are at the top of my priority list, but as I grow older, goals, dreams and plans change to more short term as the gift of life ticks away and I pivot from the long term to what is left, and how to enjoy each and every day even more.
